
Meet the Orthodontists


Kimberly Gronberg, DDS, MS
Orthodontist
Dr. Gronberg graduated from Baylor University Magna Cum Laude, with a major in biology and a minor in chemistry. She then advanced to Baylor College of Dentistry, where she was involved in many research projects and service organizations. After earning her Doctor of Dental Surgery, Dr. Gronberg began her residency in the Department of Orthodontics at Baylor College of Dentistry, widely known as one of the top orthodontic programs in the country. During her orthodontic residency, she was involved in research and teaching while earning her Master of Science in Oral Biology and Certificate in Orthodontics. Dr. Gronberg is active in the American Association of Orthodontists, American Dental Association, Texas Dental Association, and Denton County Dental Society. She is past president of the Baylor Orthodontic Alumni Association, Greater Dallas Association of Orthodontists, and Denton County Dental Society Study Club. As well, Dr. Gronberg has lectured in the orthodontic program at Baylor College of Dentistry, where she stays up to date with the latest in orthodontics and dentofacial orthopedics. Dr. Gronberg and her husband, Erik, live in Highland Village and have two wonderful daughters, Morgan and Audrey, and one son, William. When not at the office, she can be found volunteering at her kids' schools, reading, snow skiing and hiking in Colorado, spending time with friends and family, and taking walks along the trails of Lake Lewisville in Highland Village.

Charlene Sugay, DDS, MS
Orthodontist
Dr. Sugay (pronounced "soo-guy") is a Coppell, TX native and attended The University of Texas at Austin where she graduated Summa Cum Laude with a major in Biology and a minor in Business from The University of Texas at Austin. She then pursued her dental education at Texas A&M Baylor College of Dentistry where she fueled her passion for creating healthy and confident smiles. During dental school, Dr. Sugay took on key leadership roles, serving as President of both the Odontological Honor Society and the Asian-American Dental Society. She was honored with induction into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon National Honor Society and stayed actively involved with the Texas Association of Women Dentists. Throughout her training, she also devoted significant time to research and community volunteer work. Dr. Sugay's commitment to excellence continued as she completed a 3-year residency at Texas A&M Baylor College of Dentistry, earning both a Master of Science in Oral Biology and a Certificate in Orthodontics. Aiming for the highest standards in her field, she later achieved board certification as a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics, a distinction held by only 1 in 3 orthodontists. As a dedicated lifelong learner, Dr. Sugay regularly participates in orthodontic conferences and continuing education courses across the country to stay ahead of the latest techniques and innovations in orthodontics. When she's not caring for patients, Dr. Sugay enjoys a full and joyful life with her husband, John, her high school sweetheart, and their two daughters, Charlie and Callie. They love calling Flower Mound home and whether they're exploring new places, getting lost in a great book, squeezing in a workout, or spending time with loved ones, the Sugay crew is always on the move. Dr. Sugay also pours her heart into her community as part of Women of Flower Mound and Rockpointe Church.
